Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This site is operated by Running with Strategy LLC ("we," "us," "our"), a limited liability company organized in the State of Florida. We are a marketing agency working with founders on strategy, social, and paid advertising.

2. What we collect

Information you provide directly. When you fill out the inquiry form on /begin, we collect: your name, email address, phone number (optional), a link to your business or work (optional), the partnership type you’re considering, your timing and budget, your written answers about what you’ve built, your mission, and anything else you choose to share.

The Offer Read. When you use the free Offer Read, we collect the answers you give as you go, your name, email address, and phone number at the gate, and the public pages of the website you list (we read them to write your read).

The Ads check. When you take the Ads check (the marketing agency diagnostic quiz), we collect your answers and, at the email gate, your email address.

The free AI check. When you run the AI check on /ai-check, we collect your business name, what you do, your city, your website if you give one, and your email address, so we can send you the result. We read the public pages of the website you list, and we send the question a buyer would ask to our AI provider with web search turned on. The result page is unlisted and reachable by its link.

Newsletter signup. When you subscribe to A Letter, Sometimes, we collect your email address.

Booking a call. When you book a call, we collect what you tell us you’d like help with, where your business is right now, your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and any links you choose to share (website, social profiles, brand name). Our scheduling provider, Cal.com, receives your name, email, the time you pick, and a note of which page you booked from.

Automatic information. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, page accessed, timestamp) are collected by our hosting provider, Vercel, for security and operational purposes. Our own site analytics record which pages you view, how far you scroll, and which buttons you click, under a random visit ID. See Section 6 for analytics and advertising cookies.

3. How we use it

Inquiry, booking and Offer Read submissions are used to respond to you, to prepare for your call, and to follow up about the work you asked about. They are stored in our own database and routed to chloe@runningwithstrategy.com. Before a call, we may review the public pages of any website or social profile you shared so the conversation starts with something useful.

Newsletter signups are used to send you A Letter, Sometimes. We do not send promotional sequences disguised as letters.

Measurement and advertising. We use analytics to see which pages and sources bring inquiries and booked calls, so we can improve the site. When Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel are on, Google and Meta receive information about your visit, and Meta may use it to show our ads to people who visited. When you book or request a read, we may send Meta a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address so it can tell us which ads led to an inquiry. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to train AI models.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. Ever. We use the following service providers to operate the agency:

• Vercel: site hosting and server logs.
• Supabase: our database for inquiries, bookings, subscribers and site analytics.
• Resend: sends our emails, including inquiry notices, confirmations and the newsletter.
• Cal.com: scheduling for calls.
• Stripe: payments. We never see or store your full card or bank details.
• Twilio: sends text alerts to Chloe’s own phone about chats that need her and about new call bookings. The text can include the name and contact details you shared. It never texts you (see Section 8).
• Anthropic: the AI provider that helps write the Offer Read, prepare call notes and answer messages in the site chat. Under its commercial terms it does not train on this information.
• Google Analytics and Meta: measurement and advertising, as described in Section 3 and Section 6.

Each of these providers acts as a processor on our behalf and is bound by their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if required by law (subpoena, court order, regulatory request).

5. How long we keep it

Inquiry submissions and newsletter records are kept for as long as you remain a subscriber or active prospect, and reasonable time after for our records. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 9).

6. Cookies and tracking

Our own analytics use your browser’s storage, not cookies. A random visit ID lasts for your browsing session. A note of how you first found the site (the first page you landed on and the referring site or campaign) is kept in your browser for 30 days, so we can tell which sources lead to inquiries. Neither contains your name or email.

When Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel are enabled, they set their own cookies to measure visits and, for Meta, to show our ads to people who visited. They are never loaded on private pages such as client portals, contracts, payments or our admin area. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on, and you can control Meta ad personalization in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. Clearing your browser’s storage removes our own analytics notes.

7. The chat on this website

The chat in the corner of this website is an AI assistant. It runs on Claude, a model made by Anthropic, which processes your messages to write replies and does not use them to train its models. We keep each conversation, the pages you visited on this site during it, and any name, email or phone number you choose to share, so Chloe can follow up and so we can improve the assistant. Your browser keeps a random id so the chat can recognize a return visit; it is not linked to you unless you share your email. To stop abuse, we also keep a one-way code made from your network address, which cannot be turned back into the address. To see or delete a conversation, email chloe@runningwithstrategy.com.

8. Text messages (SMS)

We do not send marketing text messages, and we do not text visitors, leads or clients from this website. The only text messages our systems send go to Chloe’s own phone, as internal alerts when a chat needs her or a call is booked. If you give us a phone number, we use it to reach you about your inquiry, your call or your project, by the method you chose, and nothing else.

Mobile phone numbers and any consent to receive text messages are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share phone numbers only with the service providers in Section 4, and only to run the services described there.

If we ever offer text messages to clients, we will ask for your consent first. You can reply STOP at any time to end them and HELP for help, and message and data rates may apply. The owner’s own alerts, how she opts in and how she opts out are described on the text message alerts page.

9. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can:

• — Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time (one-click link in every email).
• — Request a copy of the information we hold about you.
• — Request correction or deletion of that information.
• — Request that we stop processing your information for marketing purposes.

California residents: The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide additional rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sales" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by these laws.

EEA and UK residents: Our legal basis for processing is your consent (for the newsletter) and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries you initiate. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

10. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

11. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect information in transit (HTTPS) and at rest with our service providers. No system is completely secure; we will notify affected users in the event of a confirmed breach as required by law.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
